My name is Christian Staples and I am the owner of Arctic Spas Utah.
Unlike many other spa companies, I am an onsite owner. I am at the store everyday here to help you. We also have a great team to be able to service our customers. In 1989, I started out doing pool and spa service. I had to take my mom to get my business license for me since I was only 17. I grew up near Park City which happens to have one of the highest concentrations of hot tubs in the world. During this time I was repairing pools and spas, building pools, installing custom spas, and just about anything else related to pools and spas. It sounds crazy but I quickly found out that I did not enjoy the swimming pool side of the business. Hot tubs drew my attention. I have always loved the excitement a customers when their hot tub is delivered or even just repaired. In 1995, my dad told me that it was time to open up a store or I would always being working out of my truck. Shortly after this time, I opened our first store at the Blue Roof in Park City.
In 1998 I found the Arctic Spa. I was mostly impressed with the design of the Arctic Spa that allowed the spa to be easier repaired. Even the simple idea of having access panels, still to this day, is not very popular with other brands. I met with one of the owners of Arctic Spas, James Keirstead. He convinced me to come to Canada, in the middle of the winter, to take a tour of the factory and to participate in the dealer seminar. After I returned, I was completely convinced that this was the direction that I need to go. I told my dad that we were onto something big. I soon changed the name of the company to Arctic Spas and gave up the swimming pool business. We even gave up servicing all brands of spas to concentrate on just the Arctic Spa customers. I have never looked back.
We now have thousands of happy Arctic Spa customers here locally. At Arctic Spas, we offer one thing that is hard to find, consistency. We now have been dealing with the same brand for longer than most spa companies have been in business. We have not bounced around from one brand to another. We focus on providing the best Arctic Spa experience possible.
Our service techs are specifically trained to service the Arctic Spa. We only stock parts for the Arctic Spa. This focus makes it possible for us to provide the best experience possible for you, our most important customer.
